Dealing with the Embarrassment of Moles, Warts and Skin Tags
Part of the problem with moles, warts and skin tags is that although they're not really harmful in a physical way, they certainly can be harmful in a psychological way. The psychological impact of having moles, warts, and skin tags is well documented, but even then most people end up suffering in silence and feeling continuously embarrassed in social situations.
In general, the embarrassment caused by moles, warts, and skin tags is directly related to their size, shape, and apperance in general. In other words, depending on how unappealing the mole, wart, or skin tag is - you may feel more or less embarrassed. Generally speaking, this varies from person to person, and while a small mole might be a total non-factor to some, with others it might actually cause them to feel embarrassed.
People who are generally very self confident and have a high self esteem are generally more resistant to feeling embarrassed due to any physical abnormalities that may crop up, including moles, warts and skin tags. On the other hand, someone with low self confidence would have a much lower resistance to the psychological affects and could end up being very deeply affected even by something that is relatively small.
If you feel embarrassed about your mole, wart, or skin tag then you need to deal with it as quickly as possible. Embarrassment is really just the first sign of something deeper, and when you continually feel embarrassed you're bound to find that sooner or later it starts to affect your self esteem and begins to manifest in other ways too.
Frankly speaking, the simplest way to deal with this issue is to deal with problem itself, but that doesn't always have the desired effect. In some cases, even once the mole, wart or skin tag is removed a person will continue to be plagued by a low self esteem. If this is the case, you might want to consider speaking to a professional - or carrying out activities that might boost your self esteem!
Whatever the case, it is important that you do tackle this issue before it becomes too big of an issue for you to manage. Do not underestimate just how big of an impact a mole, wart or skin tag can have on you psychologically, and do not brush it off until it is unbearable!
